Ibis Jasper is an incredible stone with numerous benefits- healing, spirituality, and creativity. Whether you are overworked, stressed, wanting to dig deeper into life, going through a chaotic period, unmotivated, or lacking inspiration; this stone is perfect for you, or a friend.

Ibis Jasper is a unique and rare type of brecciated jasper from Madagascar. These gems are made up of broken pieces of stones and minerals that have been fused by different varieties of Quartz.

Symbolically, it allows one to access ancient knowledge, Akashic Records, and allows us to communicate messages from Spirit, or to enhance intuition. Ibis Jasper goes through an intense process of being broken apart and then mends itself by using other materials from the Mineral Kingdom.

We now know that the sacred ibis was considered (and revered) by the Egyptians to be the earthly form of Thoth. For about a millennium starting in 1100 BC, ibises were frequently mummified as an offering to Thoth, believing that mummification would put the birds on a direct line to the afterlife.

In ancient Egypt, the ibis was one manifestation of Thoth, the god associated with divine knowledge and writing. The breed of ibis specifically sacred to Thoth is the African Sacred Ibis (Threskiornis aethiopicus) which became extinct in Egypt in the mid-19th century.
