Usui Reiki

Usui Reiki is the mother of all modern Reiki practices, a system of energy healing founded in early twentieth-century Japan by Mikao Usui after a profound spiritual awakening on Mount Kurama. What he brought back from that experience was a simple, elegant truth: that universal life energy can be channeled through a practitioner's hands to support the body's innate capacity to heal.
In a session, your practitioner channels this universal energy through light touch or hands hovering just above the body, moving through a series of positions that correspond to the major energy centers, the chakras, as well as organs and systems throughout the body.
