Clear, warm, and centering. The 256 Hz tuning fork sounds C, one octave above the 128 Hz fork, and many sound healing systems pair it with the root chakra for grounding and stability.

Strike it gently against an activator or the heel of your hand and hold it a few inches from each ear, or move it slowly through the space around the body during energy work. Use it to begin a meditation, anchor a chakra balancing or Reiki session, or use it with the 128 Hz fork for a rich octave tone.

A good first fork for anyone starting a sound practice.
